Not Enough Luck

The past 5 months or so have left me just above rock bottom. Wont get into details as I dont consider this place to be the forum for it... but one of the things I no longer have is my zoo membership :( I didn't have the money to renew it and it ended on 31 December. I've been without a job since 25 Sept so that's why I couldn't afford it.

I dont know if I'll ever be back to photographing animals... they were my biggest insperation to take photos (since socal doesn't really have the landcape I like to photograph). And if the next couple of weeks dont yield a job I'll be leaving San Diego forever. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bummed... I'm SUPER bummed... the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park were my favorite places... places of serenity. I wish I could go back at least one more time before I leave... or I guess I can still say if I leave. But... I have no way of making any money right now.

So, I dont know what's going to become of this account. I came to dA for feedback and, mostly, exposure... which I wish I was able to accomplish better. But now I dont think I'll really have much to add to it.

Oh well I guess... what can you do?

Hey Mike,

Your photos are great bro. Got my new camera and have been out roaming the county finding things to shoot. If you ever get a wild hair and want to head to North County for some areas to check out; like the top of Mt. Palomar; would be glad to grab the equipment and head up there with yeah. I seem to be best at landscapes myself; love those sunsets. Best wishes bro; guess we have a few mutual buds on facebook too.
